How we move a workshop or lab
Item by item, from the racking to the stock.
Shelving down and back up
We dismantle shelving and workbenches and set them up again at the new location.
Stock moved over numbered
Stock and materials get a number and a place, so everything ends up where it belongs.
Equipment goes separately and upright
Packed and labelled, in a separate van if needed. Your own IT manager or supplier disconnects and reconnects it.
Heavy and large, with the right equipment
For heavy and large items we use the furniture lift, dollies and straps. We discuss items over 80 kilos with you in advance.
One fixed point of contact
On moving day Benjamin usually works alongside the crew. That way there is someone on the floor who knows the plan.

One fixed amount, after the site visit
All of this is included:

If you move at the weekend, the weekend surcharge is included in this amount too.

An office and workspace with equipment that must not be jolted. It went in a separate van, and the supplier handled the installation at the new location.

Frequently asked questions from businesses
When do you come and look?
For a business move, always, at the old and the new address. From around 60 m³ a long distance move can't be estimated properly. You have the fixed price within 48 hours of the site survey.
Can you work outside office hours or at the weekend?
Yes. We do most business moves in the evening or at the weekend. We start loading on Friday evening and on Monday morning you are working at the new address. The weekend surcharge is already included in the fixed price.
How big a job can you handle?
We have done business moves of one hundred to one hundred and twenty cubic metres, with three to four vans over two days. For large jobs we add extra movers to the regular crew. After the site survey you will hear how many vans and people your building needs, and whether it will take one weekend or two.
Do you move machines as well?
Yes, loose machines, workbenches and equipment. Anything fixed in place is disconnected by your supplier, who installs it again at the new location. We plan when that happens together.
How do you handle fragile equipment?
Packed separately and upright, at its own pace. Equipment that must not be jolted goes in a separate van if needed, as with the aerospace company we moved.
What if something is too heavy or too large for the stairs?
Then it goes through the window with our furniture lift. We discuss items over 80 kilos during the site survey, so the right team comes along.
How do we know where everything goes in the new premises?
Each floor gets a colour code and each workstation a number. That number is also on the floor plan of the new premises. Your people do not have to lift anything.
