Frequently asked questions
Do I have to pack everything myself?
No, that is up to you. You get boxes and packing materials from us at list price. You can also have us pack just the kitchen and the glassware.
How do I estimate my volume?
Count the large items in the m³ calculator. Or call us: in a conversation of about ten minutes we go through the house together. Estimate on the generous side; the contents of cupboards and the attic are often forgotten.
What if the van cannot park?
We look into that in advance, with the map and in the phone call. If a permit or a cordoned-off space is needed, we apply for it with you at the council. If that is not possible, we choose the nearest loading spot and include the extra walking in the estimate straight away.
Can I also get a fixed price?
Yes, after a viewing. We come and see what there is and how it needs to go out and back in. After that you get one amount. For moves from about 60 m³ and for businesses we always do this. For a standard house move, paying by the hour is usually cheaper, because there is no margin for the unexpected built into the price.
