Who does what on moving day
You know in advance which day we pack and when the van will be at your door.
The day before or in the morning
We arrive with boxes and materials and start in the rooms you use least.
Fragile items packed separately
Crockery, glass and frames go in paper and bubble wrap, in separate boxes. Those boxes are also marked with what is inside.
Moving
The same team that packed also loads and unloads. That way we know which boxes are fragile.
Unpacking, if you like
We unpack in the room where the box is.

Is there a minimum?
No. You can also have us do just the fragile work. Then we pack the kitchen, the crockery, the glass and the frames, and you do the rest.
What does packing cost?
Packing is normal working time, at the same hourly rate as the move. We charge boxes and packing materials at list price.
When do you come to pack?
Usually the day before the move, or the same morning for a smaller home. For a family home we allow half a day to a full day.
Do you also unpack?
Yes, if you like. Because every box carries the room it is going to, we know where everything belongs. Unpacking is part of the hours.
